ON RUNNING

On is very excited to be sponsoring the second Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Half Marathon! The Swiss running brand is the fastest growing globally, based in Zurich. It has one simple mission: put the fun in the run. On’s award-winning patented technology combines the benefits of a soft training shoe and a firm racing shoe. The secret to this lies in the On’s “Clouds” – hollow pods that stretch back on impact to cushion the landing, then lock to form the solid foundation required for a powerful push-off.

Eight years after market launch, On is available from more than 4,000 specialist running stores in over 100 countries worldwide. See the full range of On products on their website HERE.

Toilets

For this event we will be using the toilets within the London Stadium. Lining up for these will be socially distanced and there will be specific Entrances & Exits in place, please ensure you follow all signage and marshal instruction.

As the toilet facilities are inside the Stadium concourse area, and in an indoor environment, we advise the use of face coverings when using indoor facilities.

Hygiene Stations

There will be multiple hygiene stations around the event village and start/finish area for all participants to use throughout the event. These will have hand sanitiser, wipes, spray, tissue and bins for the disposal of any tissue or litter.

During the race

The race will start and finish in the same location next to the event village. There will be yellow signs marking each mile along the course and along with arrows to direct you along the way there will be plenty of marshals to keep you going all the way to the finish. You can see the course map HERE.

If you need to overtake on the course please be sure to take a wide berth around the runner in front.Spitting and nasal clearance during the race is NOT permitted.

Spectators

Due to trying to limit the numbers gathering within the event village area, we please ask that you refrain from bringing spectators to the event.

Refreshments

There will be 3 water stations along the course at miles 3, 6.5 and 10 as well as at the finish line where you can collect your medal, t-shirt and goodies!

Baggage

Please limit the number of belongings you bring to the event.  This is in order to reduce contact between runners and staff. There will be an informal self-service bag drop area within the event village for runners who need it.

After the race

Do NOT stop within the finish area. Please continue through the finish until you pass the medals and are in an open space.

There will be sealed ACTIPH water bottles at the finish for each runner to collect along with your medal, T-shirt and post race snacks from KIND and Love Corn which will be laid out on tables for you to help yourself.

We ask that once you have collected your goodies to leave the event as soon as possible to avoid groups congregating within the event village.
